Hercules® 15110 Megatape is a 3/4 in. x 1000 in. gray PTFE thread-sealing tape for heavy-duty, professional use.
At 3.5 mils thick, Megatape resists tearing and needs fewer wraps. It seals threads on virtually any piping system, including stainless steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC and ABS pipe, brass and chrome fittings, and gas connections. The tape is cUL-listed and chemically inert, and the gray color gives a clean look on chrome or stainless steel pipe.
Hercules lists an operating pressure of 10,000 PSI and an operating temperature range of -450°F to 500°F. Before ordering, confirm the tape width suits the thread sizes you are sealing.
