Moen 883 is a replacement retainer clip for Moen faucets and valves.
Retainer clips hold the cartridge in position in many Moen faucets and valves. When a faucet is taken apart for a cartridge replacement, a clip that is bent, corroded or lost should be replaced so the cartridge stays locked in place and the handle aligns correctly.
Match the part number to the parts list for your faucet model, or compare it with the old clip, before ordering. Shut off the water supply before removing the handle and clip.
