Oatey 30140 is a 1.7 oz. H-20® 95 Water Soluble Tinning Flux.

It is a water-soluble tinning flux used when soldering copper pipe and fittings. A tinning flux contains powdered solder that helps coat the joint surfaces as the joint is heated, and the water-soluble residue can be flushed from the line after the job.

Clean and deburr the copper before applying flux, use only enough to coat the joint, and flush the system after soldering. Pick the container size that suits the amount of work, and pair the flux with a solder that is suitable for the application.
