Sioux Chief 821-HP2 is a 2" PVC shower drain base and collar.

The base and collar are the rough-in part of the Sioux Chief 821 shower drain: the base connects to the drain line and the collar carries the grate or strainer that is chosen for the finished shower. Buying the base on its own lets the installer set the drain during rough-in and pick the top later.

Match the body to the pipe: ABS bodies are solvent-welded to ABS pipe with ABS cement, and PVC bodies to PVC pipe with PVC primer and cement. Check local code before joining different plastics.
