Watts 0063235 is a 2" lead free double check valve backflow preventer assembly. It stops polluted water from backflowing into the potable supply through backsiphonage or backpressure, in line with national plumbing codes and water authority requirements.

The compact modular design has a single top access cover for in-line repairs. The assembly has a lead free bronze body, NPT end connections, quarter turn ball valve shutoffs, top-mounted test cocks, two independent in-line positive seating check modules, captured springs, and replaceable check discs and seats.

It is meant for continuous pressure piping and for cross-connections identified as non-health hazards. Before ordering, confirm the hazard classification with your local water authority, since high-hazard connections need a different type of assembly, and confirm the 2" female threaded connections.
