Cain Bolt & Gaskets

Cain Bolt & Gaskets products here are flange hardware and fasteners. Samples include 150# A307 flange bolt kits for 1-1/4" through 6" pipe, full face 1/8" red rubber and non-asbestos flange gaskets from 1-1/4" to 6", 304 stainless and graphite spiral wound gaskets in 4" and 6", EPDM residential pump gaskets, dielectric sleeve and washer sets, zinc-plated hex bolts, fender washers, galvanized lag screws and zip rod couplings.

Match the gasket and bolt kit to the flange size and pressure class, typically 150#. A full face gasket covers the whole flange face, including the bolt holes, and is the usual choice for flat face flanges on pumps and valves.

Choose gasket material by fluid and temperature. Red rubber is common on water service, while non-asbestos and spiral wound gaskets are used where higher temperatures or other fluids call for them. Check the details on each product page.

Use dielectric sleeve and washer sets where dissimilar metals are joined, to isolate the flanges and limit galvanic corrosion. Tighten flange bolts gradually in a cross pattern.
