Flamco

The Flamco collection includes wall mount expansion tank brackets. It covers the F97975 1/2 in. bracket for hydronic heating expansion tanks and the F97976 3/4 in. x 1/2 in. bracket for domestic water expansion tanks.

An expansion tank absorbs the extra volume water takes on as it heats. In a heating system, it protects the boiler and piping from pressure swings. On a water heater, it handles thermal expansion in a closed domestic system, for example where a check valve or pressure reducing valve is installed.

A bracket supports the weight of the tank and keeps stress off the piping, which matters most when the tank hangs from a single threaded connection. Choose the bracket by connection size and application, heating or domestic water, and confirm it suits the tank you are installing.

Anchor the bracket to solid framing or masonry, and leave room to check and adjust the tank pre-charge later. Each product page lists the model number and connection size.
