Gas Ignition Components

This collection covers ignition and flame-proving parts for gas furnaces, boilers and water heaters. It includes DiversiTech universal silicon carbide igniter kits, replacement flame sensors cross-referenced to Goodman, Lennox and Trane parts, Resideo natural gas pilot burners with various orifices and brackets, and compression fittings for pilot tubing.

Match the replacement to the original part number or a published cross-reference, and confirm igniter type, voltage and mounting. For pilot burners, check the gas type, orifice size, tip direction and bracket style. Handle igniters by the base only, clean flame sensor rods gently, and have gas appliance repairs done by a qualified technician.

Frequently asked questions

How do I pick a replacement hot surface igniter?

Start with the part number on the old igniter or in the furnace manual. Universal kits like the Q3205U1107 include adapter brackets so one igniter fits many furnaces; check the mounting and voltage before ordering.

What should I check on a pilot burner?

Match the gas type, the orifice, the tip direction (left, right or front) and the mounting bracket style to the burner you are replacing.

Where are the gas valves and thermocouples?

Gas valves are in gas valves, and standing pilot sensors are in thermocouples and thermopiles.
