An expansion tool makes the F1960 cold expansion joint, so it is a PEX-a tool. It will not make a crimp or a press joint, and it will not work on PEX-b or PEX-c tube.
Heads are not interchangeable between platforms. The M18 FUEL 2" expander takes its own 1-1/4" to 2" head set, and the M18 heads are listed separately from the M12 heads even in sizes both tools cover. Match the head to the tube size and to the tool, in that order, and check the model on the head before ordering a replacement.
Cone grease is a consumable, not an accessory. A dry cone drags on the inside of the ring and tears it, and a torn ring is a joint that passes the pressure test and fails in the wall six months later. Grease the cone on the interval the tool manual gives, not when it starts to feel rough.
