Milwaukee 49-16-2403 is a 3/8" ProPEX expansion head for making ProPEX connections on 3/8" PEX-a tubing.

ProPEX is the ASTM F1960 cold-expansion connection for PEX-a tubing: the expansion head stretches the tubing and a ProPEX ring, the fitting is inserted, and the PEX shrinks back around it to form the seal. Milwaukee lists compatibility with most Milwaukee cordless ProPEX expanders and most Uponor tools, with Milwaukee auto-rotate compatibility, high-strength steel construction and chrome-plated segments.

Expansion heads are size-specific: use this head only on 3/8" tubing, and follow the tool maker's expansion count and technique so the ring and fitting seal properly.
