This collection includes Precision Plumbing Products trap primers and water hammer arrestors. Products cover the P2-500 1/2 in. trap primer valve, the PR-500 Prime-Rite trap primer, 2 in. ABS and PVC BAP adapters with 5/8 in. OD compression fittings, and SC series water hammer arrestors in 1/2 in. and 3/4 in. IPS.

Trap primers keep floor drain traps filled to block sewer gas, so check local code for approved primer types and connection methods. The BAP adapters connect a primer line to a 2 in. ABS or PVC drain, so pick the adapter that matches the drain pipe material.

Water hammer arrestors absorb the pressure spike that happens when a quick-closing valve, such as a washing machine or dishwasher solenoid, shuts off suddenly. Size arrestors to the fixture load and pipe size, and install them close to the valve that causes the noise. Choose the 1/2 in. or 3/4 in. IPS model to match the supply connection.

Each product page lists the model number and connection details, so you can match a replacement to the unit already installed.
