Mueller Streamline W 01579 is a 1-1/2" fitting female adapter in wrot copper, FTG x FPT (FTG = fitting-size end (slides into another fitting's socket), FPT = female pipe thread).

An adapter changes the connection type to a female pipe thread.

Streamline wrot copper fittings are made from UNS C12200 copper to ASME B16.22 and are certified to NSF/ANSI 61 for drinking water. They are used on potable water, hydronic heating and HVAC/R piping, joined by soldering or brazing. On potable water lines, use a lead-free solder and flux.
