Sioux Chief 696-11P 1-1/2" OxBox Auto Vent Box Glue PVC

Sioux Chief 696-11P is an OxBox access box kit with a TurboVent air admittance valve (AAV) and a 1-1/2" PVC Schedule 40 hub adapter.

An AAV lets air into the drain system when fixtures drain and seals when they stop, where code allows it in place of a conventional vent. The OxBox keeps the valve accessible in a recessed wall box. The TurboVent valve opens during drainage and seals tight up to 13 psig of back-pressure; its internal actuator spins with each activation to keep the seal free of dust and debris.

The DWV connection adapter glues to PVC Schedule 40 pipe. Install upright in an accessible location, seal threads with PTFE tape and do not use pipe dope. A protective debris cover ships with each unit.
