Sioux Chief 696-1021GF 1/2" OxBox Gas Supply Box MIP

Sioux Chief 696-1021GF is an OxBox gas service outlet box with frame, 1/2" FIP inlet and a 1/2" NPT valve and adapter for iron pipe.

It gives a recessed, finished connection point for a gas appliance such as a range or dryer: the gas valve sits inside an ABS box in the wall with a quarter-turn ball valve for easy, accessible operation. The valve is certified to ANSI Z21.15-1997 / CGA 9.1-M97, and the box mounts to a stud or between studs.

This version is set up for iron pipe; for CSST, Sioux Chief notes the box requires a box adapter from the CSST manufacturer. The valve is leaded, which is normal for gas service.
