Charlotte Pipe CTS-02107-2400 is a 1-1/2" x 1-1/4" FlowGuard Gold CPVC bushing, Slip x Slip (Slip = slip socket (takes the pipe)).

A bushing threads into a larger female fitting to reduce it: male thread outside, smaller female thread inside.

FlowGuard Gold CTS fittings are CPVC for hot and cold potable water distribution, made to ASTM D2846 and certified to NSF 61, and rated 100 psi at 180°F. They are copper tube size, so they match CTS CPVC pipe, and join with a one-step CPVC solvent cement (ASTM F493) that does not need primer. CPVC CTS and PVC Schedule 40 are different outside diameters and do not interchange.
