Mueller Streamline W 01171 is a 1-1/4" male adapter in wrot copper, C x MPT (C = sweat socket (takes the tube), MPT = male pipe thread).

An adapter makes the change from sweat to a male pipe thread, for a valve, fixture connection or threaded equipment.

Streamline wrot copper fittings are made from UNS C12200 copper to ASME B16.22 and are certified to NSF/ANSI 61 for drinking water. They are used on potable water, hydronic heating and HVAC/R piping, joined by soldering or brazing. On potable water lines, use a lead-free solder and flux.
