Viega 79465 is a 1-1/4" ProPress fitting female adapter (ftg), FTG(CTS) x FPT (FTG(CTS) = fitting-size end (copper tube size), slides into another fitting; FPT = female pipe thread).

An adapter changes the connection type to a female pipe thread.

Viega ProPress joins copper tube with a press tool and ProPress jaw: no flame, no solder and no hot-work permit. The EPDM sealing element is factory installed, and Viega's Smart Connect design lets an unpressed fitting show itself during the pressure test. ProPress is approved for hot and cold potable water, hydronic heating with glycol, chilled water, compressed air and non-medical gases.
