Viega 25716 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" - (P-P) - Union, MegaPress®G

Viega 25716 is a 1-1/4" MegaPressG union, P x P (P = press end for IPS steel pipe).

A union can be taken apart without cutting the line, so equipment such as a pump, water heater or valve can be removed for service.

Viega MegaPressG is the gas version of MegaPress: a yellow HNBR sealing element and a stainless steel grip ring, listed to ANSI LC 4a / CSA 6.32a for natural gas and propane at up to 125 psi. It presses onto Schedule 10 to 40 steel pipe with a standard press tool and MegaPress jaw, which removes threading and thread sealant from gas piping.
