MrPEX Systems 4691335 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" x 1/2" PEX Reducing Tee (Expansion(F1960)) - Composite

MrPEX Systems 4691335 is a 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" x 1/2" composite PEX reducing tee with ASTM F1960 expansion connections.

A reducing tee splits one PEX line into two, for branching supply runs, hydronic loops or fixture take-offs. The size is listed run x run x branch as 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" x 1/2", so confirm each outlet against the tubing you are connecting.

F1960 expansion fittings are used with PEX-a tubing and PEX expansion rings: the tubing and ring are expanded, the fitting is inserted, and the PEX shrinks back to form the seal. Composite fittings are a non-metallic alternative to brass for the same expansion system. Match the fitting size and expansion ring to the tubing, and follow local code and the tubing maker's installation instructions.
