Mueller Streamline W 01131R 1/2" Copper Fittings - Cleaned & Bagged - Male Adapter C x MPT

Mueller Streamline W 01131R is a 1/2" male adapter in wrot copper, C x MPT (C = sweat socket (takes the tube), MPT = male pipe thread).

An adapter makes the change from sweat to a male pipe thread, for a valve, fixture connection or threaded equipment.

These fittings are cleaned for oxygen service to CGA G-4.1 and sealed in a bag at the factory, which is what NFPA 99 requires for medical gas and oxygen piping. Keep them bagged until the joint is made, and braze with a nitrogen purge. The same fittings also suit refrigeration work where a clean interior matters.
