Sioux Chief 649X2 is a 1/2" copper PEX crimp ring for ASTM F1807 crimp connections.

The ring slides over SDR9 PEX tube and is crimped onto the barbed insert of an F1807 (or F2159 poly) fitting with a crimp tool sized to the ring. Sioux Chief makes the rings from pure, annealed copper.

Use the 1/2" ring only with 1/2" PEX SDR9 tube; Sioux Chief notes the rings are not for use with polybutylene (PB) tube. Check each finished crimp with a go/no-go gauge.
