Sioux Chief 649TX2 1/2" PEX F1807 V-Sleeve Crimp

Sioux Chief 649TX2 is a 1/2" V-Sleeve stainless steel PEX compression sleeve.

The V-Sleeve is used in place of a copper crimp ring on ASTM F1807 and F2159 PEX fittings with SDR9 PEX tube made to ASTM F876 or F877. It gives 360 degree compression on all sealing surfaces, and the tube stays visible so you can confirm it is fully inserted against the fitting's tube stop.

The sleeve can be pre-loaded onto the fitting or the tube. Use a compression tool designed for V-Sleeve or F3347 metal press sleeve connections; a standard crimp-ring tool is not the right tool for this sleeve. Third-party tested to ASTM F877 and UPC listed (patent 8,123,257).
