BrassCraft 63PT-4X is a 1/4" O.D. Tube Insert for Plastic and Nylon Tubing.

A tube insert supports the inside wall of plastic or nylon tubing so it does not collapse when the compression nut and ferrule are tightened. It is not recommended for use with steel tubing. BrassCraft compression fittings are sized by the tube outside diameter (O.D.), so measure the tubing O.D. rather than its nominal pipe size. When a joint is rebuilt, use a nut and ferrule of the same O.D. as the fitting. Cut tubing square, deburr it, and check that the fitting size, thread and material suit the fluid and local code before installing.
