BrassCraft 62-6X is a 3/8" Compression Union.

A compression union joins two tubes end to end and can be taken apart and reassembled for service. BrassCraft compression fittings are sized by the tube outside diameter (O.D.), so measure the tubing O.D. rather than its nominal pipe size. When a joint is rebuilt, use a nut and ferrule of the same O.D. as the fitting. Cut tubing square, deburr it, and check that the fitting size, thread and material suit the fluid and local code before installing.
