Viega 25411 is a 1" x 1" x 1/2" MegaPressG tee (adapter), P x P x FPT (P = press end for IPS steel pipe; FPT = female pipe thread).

An adapter tee has press ends on the run and a female threaded branch, for a gauge, drain, valve or threaded take-off.

Viega MegaPressG is the gas version of MegaPress: a yellow HNBR sealing element and a stainless steel grip ring, listed to ANSI LC 4a / CSA 6.32a for natural gas and propane at up to 125 psi. It presses onto Schedule 10 to 40 steel pipe with a standard press tool and MegaPress jaw, which removes threading and thread sealant from gas piping.
