MrPEX Systems 4817550 is a 3/4" x 1/2" brass PEX reducing coupling with ASTM F1960 expansion connections.

A coupling joins two lengths of PEX tubing in a straight line, for extending runs or repairing a damaged section. This reducing version steps from 3/4" to 1/2".

F1960 expansion fittings are used with PEX-a tubing and PEX expansion rings: the tubing and ring are expanded, the fitting is inserted, and the PEX shrinks back to form the seal. The brass body gives a rigid, durable fitting for plumbing and hydronic lines. Match the fitting size and expansion ring to the tubing, and follow local code and the tubing maker's installation instructions.
