Schedule 80 CPVC fittings are heavy-wall CPVC in iron pipe size (IPS) for commercial and industrial pressure lines that run hotter than PVC allows. IPS Schedule 80 CPVC is a different outside diameter from copper-tube-size (CTS) CPVC, so the two do not interchange.
