Charlotte Pipe CTS-02300D-0600 is a 1/2" FlowGuard Gold CPVC elbow - 90° (drop ear), Slip x FIP CTS-02300D-0600 (Slip = slip socket (takes the pipe)).

A drop-ear elbow has a mounting tab that screws to the framing, which is how a shower arm or hose bibb connection is held solid in the wall.

FlowGuard Gold CTS fittings are CPVC for hot and cold potable water distribution, made to ASTM D2846 and certified to NSF 61, and rated 100 psi at 180°F. They are copper tube size, so they match CTS CPVC pipe, and join with a one-step CPVC solvent cement (ASTM F493) that does not need primer. CPVC CTS and PVC Schedule 40 are different outside diameters and do not interchange.
