Charlotte Pipe AW-00502-0422C is a 4" x 4" x 3" ChemDrain CPVC combination wye, All Hub (Hub = hub (socket that takes the pipe)).

A combination wye and 1/8 bend brings a branch in at 45° and turns it in one fitting, the usual way to join a horizontal branch into a horizontal drain.

ChemDrain is Charlotte's CPVC chemical waste drainage system, made to ASTM F2618 and listed by NSF for chemical waste (NSF-cw). It is used for laboratory, school and hospital drainage and similar acid and caustic waste at up to 220°F, joined with the one-step ChemDrain solvent cement.
