The Caleffi 521606A MixCal is a 1" 3-way thermostatic mixing valve with press connections. It blends hot and cold water to deliver a stable, adjustable mixed outlet temperature.

MixCal valves are ASSE 1017 listed point-of-distribution mixing valves, typically installed at the water heater to reduce scald risk while allowing stored water to be kept hotter. A thermostatic element compensates for changes in supply temperature and pressure. The outlet set point is adjustable from 85°F to 150°F.

Before ordering: Confirm the 1" press connections and press tool and check the flow chart in the data sheet against your peak demand. ASSE 1017 valves are not a substitute for ASSE 1070 devices where code requires final tempering at fixtures.
