Caleffi 521616AC MixCal 3-Way Thermostatic Mixing Valve 1" Press with Inlet Check Valves & Temperature Gauge, ASSE 1017

The Caleffi 521616AC MixCal is a 1" 3-way thermostatic mixing valve with press connections plus inlet check valves and a temperature gauge. It blends hot and cold water to deliver a stable, adjustable mixed outlet temperature.

MixCal valves are ASSE 1017 listed point-of-distribution mixing valves, typically installed at the water heater to reduce scald risk while allowing stored water to be kept hotter. A thermostatic element compensates for changes in supply temperature and pressure. The inlet check valves help prevent crossflow between the hot and cold supplies. The gauge shows the mixed water temperature at a glance.

Before ordering: Confirm the 1" press connections and press tool and check the flow chart in the data sheet against your peak demand. ASSE 1017 valves are not a substitute for ASSE 1070 devices where code requires final tempering at fixtures.
