The Caleffi 535970HA is a PressCal pressure reducing valve (PRV) with 1-1/4" union sweat connections, supplied without a gauge. It reduces high incoming water pressure to a steady, adjustable outlet pressure.

PressCal valves are ASSE 1003 listed, low-lead, pre-adjustable PRVs for domestic water systems, typically installed on the main water service after the meter to protect fixtures, appliances and piping from excess pressure. The brass body is rated for a maximum pressure of 300 psi.

Before ordering: match the PRV to your 1-1/4" service line and confirm the union sweat connection. The union sweat tailpieces solder to copper tube. If you want to read outlet pressure at the valve, choose a version with a gauge. Check local code for thermal expansion requirements once a PRV is installed.
