Milwaukee Tools 2872-20 is an M18 brushless threaded rod cutter, sold as the tool only.

The threaded rod cutter shears all-thread hanger rod cleanly without burrs, so nuts thread on without chasing the threads, and without the sparks of an abrasive saw. It is a common tool for plumbing, mechanical and electrical contractors hanging pipe, duct, strut and conduit.
