Watts 0009217 1/2" Lead Free Water Pressure Reducing Valve, NPT Female Union x NPT Female, Polymer Seat, Adjustable Pressure Range 25-75 psi

Watts 0009217 is the standard model 1/2" lead free brass water pressure reducing valve. It lowers incoming water pressure to protect plumbing systems and reduce water consumption in commercial, industrial and residential applications.

The valve has an NPT threaded female union inlet and NPT female outlet, a sealed spring cage with stainless steel cage screws, an integral stainless steel strainer that can be removed for cleaning, and a replaceable seat module for easy maintenance. A bypass feature controls thermal expansion pressure. It is suitable for inlet pressures up to 300 psi, and the outlet can be set from 25 to 75 psi, with a standard setting of 50 psi.

Before ordering, confirm the 1/2" pipe size, that the required outlet pressure falls in the 25-75 psi range, and that water temperature stays within 33-160°F.
