It is a screw-in replacement heating element for Rheem electric and hybrid tank water heaters. Elements fail from scale buildup, dry firing or age, and a matching replacement restores recovery without changing the tank.

Match the voltage, wattage and length to the rating plate and the element being removed. Turn off power, drain the tank below the element opening, and refill completely before restoring power to avoid a dry-fire failure.
