Sioux Chief 881-54 4" Mechanical Plug

Sioux Chief 881-54 is a 4" mechanical plug.

During rough-in, the new drain, waste and vent piping is usually filled with water or pressurized with air so the inspector can check for leaks. Test caps and plugs close the open pipe ends and fittings for that test.

A mechanical plug seals the end of a 4" pipe or opening by expanding inside it, and can be removed and reused. Check the pipe size and inside condition before installing, and never remove a plug from a line that is under test pressure.
