MrPEX Systems 4875051 is a 1/2" brass PEX drop ear elbow with an ASTM F1960 expansion x FIP connection.

The drop ear elbow turns a PEX line 90 degrees to a female threaded (FIP) outlet and has a mounting ear to secure it to framing, as at shower arms, tub spouts and hose connections.

F1960 expansion fittings are used with PEX-a tubing and PEX expansion rings: the tubing and ring are expanded, the fitting is inserted, and the PEX shrinks back to form the seal. The brass body gives a rigid, durable fitting for plumbing and hydronic lines. Match the fitting size and expansion ring to the tubing, and follow local code and the tubing maker's installation instructions.
