MrPEX Systems 4877550 is a 1/2" x 3/4" brass PEX mip adapter elbow with an ASTM F1960 expansion x MIP connection.

This elbow turns a PEX line 90 degrees into a male threaded (MIP) end, for connecting PEX to valves, fixtures and equipment with female threads in tight spaces. Listed size: 1/2" x 3/4".

F1960 expansion fittings are used with PEX-a tubing and PEX expansion rings: the tubing and ring are expanded, the fitting is inserted, and the PEX shrinks back to form the seal. The brass body gives a rigid, durable fitting for plumbing and hydronic lines. Match the fitting size and expansion ring to the tubing, and follow local code and the tubing maker's installation instructions.
