Charlotte Pipe PVC-08100-2400 3" PVC SCH80 Coupling - Socket x Socket

Charlotte Pipe PVC-08100-2400 is a 3" PVC Schedule 80 coupling, Socket x Socket (Socket = socket (takes the pipe)).

A coupling joins two lengths of the same size in a straight run.

Schedule 80 PVC fittings are the heavy-wall pressure fittings, made to ASTM D2467 and grey to tell them apart from Schedule 40. The thicker wall gives a higher pressure capacity and allows threaded connections, which is why Schedule 80 is used on industrial, process and commercial pressure lines. Like all PVC, they are limited to 140°F.
