Caleffi 502043A MINICAL Automatic Air Vent 1/2" Male NPT with Hygroscopic Safety Cap, 150 PSI

The Caleffi 502043A MINICAL is a compact automatic float-type air vent with a 1/2" male NPT connection for hydronic heating and cooling systems.

MINICAL vents install at system high points and on manifolds, air separators and terminal units to discharge accumulated air automatically. The compact body suits tight locations such as radiant manifolds. This model has a hygroscopic safety cap: its discs swell when wet and seal the vent to help prevent water from leaking out.

Before ordering: Confirm the 1/2" male NPT thread matches your fitting or tapping. Install the vent upright at a high point of the circuit.
