The Caleffi 59829 is a replacement automatic air vent assembly for DISCAL air separators with brass bodies in sizes 3/4" through 2" (551 series).

DISCAL air separators remove entrained air and microbubbles from closed-loop hydronic heating and cooling systems, and the float-type vent on top discharges the collected air. This assembly lets you service a worn or leaking vent on an existing brass-body DISCAL without replacing the separator body.

Before ordering: Confirm your separator is a brass-body 551 series DISCAL in the 3/4" to 2" range. Isolate and depressurize the system before removing the old vent.
