Type	Shower Rough-In Valve
Commercial or Residential	Primarily Residential

American Standard RU101SS is a shower rough-in valve: the Flash Shower Rough-In Valve With Universal Inlets/Outlets With Screwdriver Stops.

This rough-in valve is installed inside the wall or floor during construction or remodeling and later receives a matching American Standard trim. It is part of the Flash rough-in system, which lets the trim be selected separately. Screwdriver stops allow water to be shut off at the valve for service. Universal inlets and outlets accept several connection types.

Before installing, confirm the trim you plan to use is compatible with this valve, the supply pipe type and the wall depth, and follow local code for pressure balance or thermostatic protection.

What's included

Cast DZR brass valve body with screwdriver stops
Pre-installed flush plug / test cap
Stainless steel retaining ring
Plaster guard

Cartridge: Not included in this rough-in. The cartridge ships with the American Standard TU-series trim kit.

Trim (sold separately)

The handle and escutcheon are not included. Finish this valve with an American Standard Flash shower or tub/shower trim kit (TU series, with cartridge).
