Moen 1248B High-Flow Roman Tub Cartridge, Hot or Cold - Bulk Pack

Which version do I need? Same cartridge as the Moen 1248, in bulk packaging. See also: Moen 1248 High-Flow Roman Tub Cartridge, Hot or Cold.

Moen 1248B is a two-handle replacement cartridge for high-flow Roman tubs, hot or cold, in bulk packaging.

Moen lists the 1248 as the replacement cartridge for two-handle high-flow Roman tub faucets. The same cartridge fits either the hot or cold side of the valve, so you can replace one or both handles' cartridges as needed.

The 1248B is the bulk-packaged version. Replace the cartridge when the tub filler drips, the handle is stiff or will not shut off. Moen advises removing the handle to identify the handle mechanism first; shut off the water before starting.
