MrPEX Systems 4642000 is a 2" composite PEX plug with ASTM F1960 expansion connections.

A plug caps the end of a 2" PEX line, useful for pressure testing, roughing in future fixtures, or closing off an unused branch.

F1960 expansion fittings are used with PEX-a tubing and PEX expansion rings: the tubing and ring are expanded, the fitting is inserted, and the PEX shrinks back to form the seal. Composite fittings are a non-metallic alternative to brass for the same expansion system.
