Taco Comfort Solutions 432-6 is the Air Scoop - 1-1/4" NPT.

An air scoop removes entrained air from a hydronic heating system by slowing the water so air bubbles rise into a vent port. It is usually installed on the boiler supply line, ahead of the circulator.

Pair it with an automatic air vent on the top port, and match the 1-1/4" NPT connections to the system piping. Removing air reduces noise, improves heat transfer and helps protect the circulator.
