Description
The AC112-01 is a flexible underfloor sensor from Resideo (Honeywell Home), for Aube AC112 controls.
Electric floor heating is controlled by floor temperature, not air temperature. The room can be perfectly comfortable while the floor is either cold underfoot or hot enough to damage what is on top of it, and only a sensor in the slab knows which.
The sensor goes in a conduit in the pour, not buried loose. That is what makes it replaceable later, and the sensor is the part of a floor heating system most likely to need replacing.
