Sioux Chief 643WG23 is a 3/4" F1960 expansion x 1/2" male sweat (MSWT) straight adapter in no-lead (NL/DZR) brass.

The male sweat end is fitting-size copper: it solders into a copper fitting socket, so it transitions a PEX line into existing copper fittings and valves. F1960 joints are cold-expansion connections: the tube is expanded, the fitting inserted, and the PEX shrinks back onto it. With PowerPEX Type-B tube, Sioux Chief recommends a self-rotating power expansion tool.

Sioux Chief describes the one-piece fitting as full flow with no restriction. Match the connection standard (F1807 crimp, F1960 expansion or F2159 poly crimp) to the PEX tube, rings and tools already on the job before ordering.
