Caleffi NA545356 DIRTMAG Composite Magnetic Dirt Separator 1" NPT Union with Isolation Valves

The Caleffi NA545356 is a 1" DIRTMAG composite dirt separator with magnet, supplied with NPT union connections and isolation valves. It removes dirt and magnetic iron particles from closed-loop hydronic heating systems.

DIRTMAG separators use an internal mesh element and a strong magnet to capture dirt and ferrous (magnetic) particles such as iron oxide sludge from hydronic heating water. Collected debris settles in the bottom chamber and is flushed out through the drain valve, protecting pumps, boiler heat exchangers and valves, especially high-efficiency boilers with small passages. The included isolation valves allow the separator to be cleaned without draining the system.

Before ordering, confirm the 1" NPT union connection and that your system operates within 45 psi and 195F, the rated limits of this separator.
