The Caleffi 546109A is a 2" DISCAL DIRTMAG air and dirt separator with magnet and female NPT union connections. It removes air, dirt and magnetic iron particles from closed-loop hydronic heating and cooling systems in a single device.

DISCAL DIRTMAG units combine two functions: an internal element that releases entrained air and microbubbles through the automatic air vent on top, and a dirt collection chamber with a removable magnet that traps dirt and ferrous particles. Debris is flushed out through the bottom drain valve. Installing one unit in place of a separate air separator and dirt separator saves space and fittings in boiler rooms and mechanical rooms.

Before ordering, confirm the 2" female NPT union connection and that your system stays within 150 psi and 230F. Size the separator to the pipe size of the main line where it will be installed.
