LeakBreaker is a water heater shut-off valve with a control and sensor. When the sensor detects water from a leaking tank, the valve shuts off the cold water supply to limit water damage.

It installs on the 3/4" NPT cold water inlet of the water heater, with the sensor placed in the drain pan or on the floor near the tank. It is a practical safeguard for water heaters in finished basements, closets and upper floors.
